Admission Criteria

  • Criteria of Earning the Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Community Leadership

    • The BSW (Community Leadership) Course is a three year degree course offered by Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodya Vishwavidayalya Chitrakoot Satna [MP].
    • Only those candidate will be admitted in this course who are citizen of State of Madhya Pradesh only other state candidate are not allowed
    • People who are between 18 and 45 years age group with demonstrated aptitude for social work and who have passed 12th class are selected by inviting application for the programme.
    • After enrolment each candidate has to select one village which he will use as his lab for practical work and submit 10 monthly assignments and one project work qualifying in practical training which constitutes 50% weightage in final evaluations.
    • The candidate has to appear for yearend examination in five modules conducted by the Chitrakoot University for qualifying theory which constitutes another 50% weightage in final evaluations.
    • The candidate has to secure minimum 33% separately in both theory and practical to be able to pass.
    • The SC and ST students are exempted from all fees and also reimbursed a part of their travel and food while general category students bear their own expenditure and the fees involved in the course.
    • There is 50% reservation of the seat for women. No other reservation policy is applicable for this course
    • Due to any circumstances if enrolled student completed only one year of the BSW course, he/she would be awarded as Certificate in Community Leadership and similarly if enrolled student completed only two years of the BSW course, he/she would be awarded as Diploma in Community Leadership
    • There is no concept of lateral entry for this course any way
    • For any dispute the jurisdiction area is High Court Jabalpur [MP], India
